Finding Char-Tom Charters

Now that you've booked a sportfishing charter aboard the Tommy C let's find out where you're going to fish. I've provided a map that can be downloaded and viewed online and printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. This map shows the layout of the area around the marina so that you can be a bit more familiar with your destination. If you have any problems at all PLEASE call me at 614-419-8265.

Driving Directions

For those of you who wish to input the address into an internet mapping site or GPS, it's

From the Cincinnati or Dayton Area

  1. Follow I-75 N. Toward Toledo.
  2. At Exit 179 (Near Bowling Green) take U.S. 6 E. to junction with Ohio 53.
  3. Turn left and follow Ohio 53 N. toward Port Clinton to junction with Ohio Expressway 2.
  4. Go right (East) on Ohio Expressway 2 to Ohio 53 N. and follow the MAP at this point.

From the Columbus Area

  1. Take I-270 (the direction depends on your starting location in the city) to U.S. 23 North.
  2. Follow U.S. 23 N. to junction with Ohio 53 North near Upper Sandusky.
  3. Follow Ohio 53 N. toward Port Clinton to junction with Ohio Expressway 2.
  4. Go right (East) on Ohio Expressway 2 to Ohio 53 N. and follow the MAP at this point.

From the Southern or Southeastern Ohio Area

  1. Check an Ohio Roadmap for local directions to Columbus
  2. Use I-270 W. and N. to bypass Columbus
  3. Exit I-270 at U.S. 23 N.
  4. Follow U.S. 23 N. to junction with Ohio 53 North near Upper Sandusky.
  5. Follow Ohio 53 N. toward Port Clinton to junction with Ohio Expressway 2.
  6. Go right (East) on Ohio Expressway 2 to Ohio 53 N. and follow the MAP at this point.

The boat is docked at West Harbor Marina in West Harbor. Follow the RED arrows on the MAP to the boat which is located at Dock #132. You will be turning left onto Maritime Shoreline Drive to get to the Marina. Park in the Guest Parking Area (center of lot)

Departure time varies during the season. Be sure to discuss departure times with the captain.

For information on dining or night clubs, ask your Captain. The guests of Char-Tom Charters receive special discounts at certain places.
